Course Description
This new continuing education course focuses on seven (7) key management areas cross-cutting all domains of project management, from initiating to closing a project. These skills are critical to the new and seasoned Project Manager Professional to overcome the typical challenges involved with performing the day-to-day tasks identified in PMI's new Project Management Professional Role Delineation Study (RDS).
Since August 2011, the RDS has become the new standard to test candidates at the PMP certification exam and this course is designed to provide 60 PDUs of continuing education to PMPs who need not only to update their management skills in such areas covered by the new RDS but also renew their PMPs credential.
This multimedia course includes on screen readings with audio narration and illustrations as well as in-context quizzes and exercises. The certificate of 60 PDUs is delivered online as soon as all activities are completed.
Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this 60 hours course, students will have gained significant knowledge and acquired improved skills to perform their day-to-day tasks in cross-cutting project management areas such as team motivation, effective communication, time management, negotiating techniques, network development, ethical and cultural issues.

Evaluation: there is two ways of completing the course:
- You have answered all the quiz questions of the course with an overall score above 75%
- You may take each mini course skills assessment. Several tries are permitted. A score of 75% is needed.

The following are the minimum user system requirements necessary:
- Computer: Minimum 500MHz Processor, 128 MB RAM
- Monitor: Minimum display resolution 800x600
- Sound: Sound card with speakers or headphones strongly recommended
- Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7; Mac OS X v10.4 and later
- Internet Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher; Firefox 3.0 or higher; Chrome 3.0 or higher; Safari 4.0 or higher.
- Internet connection: 56k modem minimum, preferably a high-speed or broadband connection.
- Media Player: Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher
- Flash Player: Adobe Flash Player 10.0 or higher is recommended for best experience in all browsers and is required for browsers other than Internet Explorer. A text-only version is available for users who do not have Adobe Flash Player.
Other requirements:
- JavaScript, popup windows and cookies enabled. Because this courses utilizes pop-up windows, pop-up blockers must be disabled.
