Important Updates about PMP and CAPM Examinations
2016 PMP Exam Change - RDS is updated (more tasks) - the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition remains the same and is NOT changed for the new PMP exam 2016.
PMI had initially announced the new exam for November 2015 but has now changed the launch date to January 11, 2016.
The PMP Exam will see some change in early 2016. The change is not substantial but introduces a set of new tasks that were brought in by the latest update of PMI's Role Delineation Study.
PMI has NOT updated the PMBOK® Guide – Fifth Edition. The 5th edition is still the latest version used for the new 2016 PMP examination.
PMCampus' instructors and experts team have completed the development of an optional complimentary study material. This complimentary study material is for candidates who want to take the new PMP exam 2016. PMI will put the new exam in place starting January 11, 2016.
All our students are provided with complimentary access to supplemental training material that will cover the new RDS tasks in order to be well prepared for the new exam. There will no change necessary to the current course offer due to the nature of changes.
If you plan to take your exam after January 12, not to worry, supplemental material will be provided at no extra cost as part of our PMP prep training courses under "supplemental material update 2016". It will cover the new tasks that have been uncovered by the latest version of the RDS as follow:
- Domain 1: Initiating the Project 3 tasks added (task 2, task 7, task 8)
- Domain 2: Planning the Project 1 task added (task 13)
- Domain 3: Executing the Project 2 tasks added(task 6, task 7)
- Domain 4: Monitoring and controlling the project 2 tasks added (task 6, task 7)
- Domain 5: Closing the project No new tasks added
The current PMP exam covers 37 tasks distributed among the 5 domains and PMCampus PMP prep training material already covers all these 37 tasks plus an extra set of 3 cross-domain tasks. Many other training company have not integrated RDS tasks in their training but be assured PMCampus makes sure we have the most updated database of questions and training material.
Our team is well versed at analyzing RDS tasks and developing PMP practice questions that will be provided to you at no extra cost to succeed at the PMP exam with confidence and on budget.
Because the change will not affect core courses, students can already enroll in our PMP exam prep courses and the complimentary supplemental training material is now provided to all our students.
