The following are the minimum user system requirements necessary:
- Computer: Minimum 500MHz Processor, 128 MB RAM
- Monitor: Minimum display resolution 800x600
- Sound: Sound card with speakers or headphones strongly recommended
- Operating system: Windows 2000, XP, Vista, or 7; Mac OS X v10.4 and later
- Internet Browser: Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher; Firefox 3.0 or higher; Chrome 3.0 or higher; Safari 4.0 or higher.
- Internet connection: 56k modem minimum, preferably a high-speed or broadband connection.
- Media Player: Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher
- Flash Player: Adobe Flash Player 10.0 or higher is recommended for best experience in all browsers and is required for browsers other than Internet Explorer. A text-only version is available for users who do not have Adobe Flash Player.
Other requirements:
- JavaScript, popup windows and cookies enabled. Because this courses utilizes pop-up windows, pop-up blockers must be disabled.
- Toolbars such as Google and Yahoo toolbars (among others) impede the functionality of courses. These and other nonstandard toolbars must be disabled. Personal firewall programs must allow the access to the courses.
